Photo Diary: Yellow Green Farmers Market

Yellow Green Farmers MarketThe Yellow and Green Farmers Market is kind of a hidden gem because its set up in the heart of a residential neighborhood and not visible from the highway or any main roads.
Yellow Green Farmers Market is located at 1940 North 30th Road Hollywood, FL 33021[GMap]. This  market is only open on the weekends from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. It’s open rain or shine because all the 300 plus vendors are in a covered barn shaped building. The market offers free parking, shopping carts, and Wi-Fi. It’s also pet friendly.

I recently visited the farmers market to stock up on some of my favorite items. All of the vendors are super nice and have great products. There is a little bit of everything at the Yellow Green Farmers Market as you will see from the pictures below.
My favorite vendors are (in no particular order):
  • Shea Experience : raw organic shea butter and african soap
  • Roasted Corn Station: they roast corn on the cob… yum
  • Fruit and Vegetable  Stand: they have a pineapple peeler/corer- a huge plus as far as I’m concerned)
  • Fresh Coconut Water Station: they sale the coconut water by the cup, half gallon, and gallon
  • Personalized Pencils 4 You – you can get your name engraved on a pencil for $1.00.)
Prepare for photo overload there is just so much to see at the Yellow Green Farmers Market. I couldn’t help myself. Take a look!

I’d like to encourage you to check out this farmers market if you’re ever in the neighborhood! Tip: Don’t go too early or too late in the day, as some vendors are still setting up at 8:00 am or starting to pack up at 3:30 pm. I think they perfect time is between 9:30 am – 3:00 pm.
What’s your favorite item to purchase at a farmer’s market?  I’d love to know you fav! Comment below.
